Below we explain how World Residence processes the personal data of people who visit the worldresidence.eu website and contact us, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is World Residence, ul. Zagrodnicza 20, 61-654 Poznań, Poland, tax ID (NIP): 782-160-67-47, e-mail: info@worldresidence.eu, telephone: +48 501 706 501. In all matters concerning personal data you can contact us at this e-mail address or telephone number.

2. What data we process, for what purpose and on what basis

  • The “Report a property” and “Commission a search” forms, contact by e-mail and telephone. We process the data you give us (e.g. name, e-mail address, telephone number, the content of the message, expectations regarding the property) in order to answer the enquiry and prepare an offer. Basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in handling enquiries).
  • The pop-up offering a free PDF market report. We record your answers (the chosen market, region and reason for interest) as well as your name and e-mail address, in order to send you the report and contact you about offers. We record the answers from the subsequent steps before you give your contact details, but without your name and e-mail address. We process contact details on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
  • The chat on the website. We process the content of the conversation and the data you give in it in order to answer questions. Basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
  • Statistics and cookies. We use Google Analytics and Google advertising tags, which store cookies in your browser and process, among other things, your IP address and data about your device and behaviour on the site. This serves to analyse traffic and improve the site. Basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in analysing and developing the service).
  • Establishing legal claims and meeting legal obligations. Where necessary we also process data for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and to comply with obligations arising from legal provisions (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

3. Recipients of data

Data may be entrusted or disclosed to entities whose services we use: the provider of software for real estate offices and chat (Asari), the provider of the form-handling service, the hosting company, IT and postal service providers and Google (analytics). If you become interested in a specific offer and ask for contact or a presentation, we will pass your data to the developer or a cooperating real estate agency in Spain or in Dubai, to the extent necessary to handle your enquiry. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities if required by law.

4. Transfer of data outside the European Economic Area

Some providers (e.g. Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases we rely on the mechanisms provided for in the GDPR, such as European Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. In addition, completing a property purchase in Spain or in Dubai may require your data to be passed to entities from those countries, which you will always know about in advance.

5. How long we keep data

We keep data for the time necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected: data from enquiries and conversations until the handling of the enquiry is finished, and then for the limitation period of any claims; data processed on the basis of consent until it is withdrawn; data in cookies according to their validity period (usually up to a year or a little more). After this time we delete or anonymise the data.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access to your data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where we process data on the basis of consent, you can withdraw it at any time (withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal). To exercise these rights, write to info@worldresidence.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland).

7. Voluntary nature of providing data

Providing data is voluntary, but it is necessary in order for us to answer your enquiry, send the report or prepare an offer. We do not make decisions about you in an automated manner, including profiling, that would produce legal effects.

8. Cookies

The website uses cookies necessary for its operation as well as analytics and advertising cookies (Google). You can change your cookie settings in your browser at any time or delete the files already stored. Disabling some cookies may affect how some features of the website work.

9. Changes to the privacy policy

The policy may be updated, e.g. after a change in the law or in the tools we use. The current version is always available on this page, and the date of the last change is given at its beginning.
