Formentera del Segura lies on the Vega Baja plain, between Guardamar del Segura, Rojales and San Fulgencio. It is a calm town with its own centre, square and church, yet with access to the services and large shopping centres in Guardamar, Torrevieja and Elche. The journey to Alicante-Elche airport takes about 30 minutes.
What to see
The centre of the town is a square with a church with a distinctive bell tower, around which local life revolves. The area is flat and agricultural, well connected by regional roads with the AP-7 motorway and the coast. The beaches, the Guardamar dune park and the golf courses are between a few and about fifteen minutes away by car.
